TEXAS STAP PROGRAM
This program provides FREE amplified telephones, ring signalers,
bluetooth phone adaptors, as well as other phone related devices
for Texas residents that have a documented hearing loss which impairs
their ability to communicate adequately using a standard telephone.
If you or your loved one has difficulty communicating over the
telephone, call us for more information and to discuss how
to qualify. This program is based upon documentation of
need due to hearing loss- it is not an income based program.
You must provide proof of Texas residency such as drivers license,
texas medicaid card, or a current utility bill showing your Texas
address.
We have applications in both offices to help you fill them out.
